The number of people who have died worldwide owing to Covid as of yesterday morning, according to data collected by Johns Hopkins University. According to Forbes, this figure is likely greatly underestimated, owing to undertesting and underreporting.


The number of new employment positions in the United States in February, according to the latest jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The jobless rate has decreased to 3.8%, which is only a little higher than the pre-pandemic record low of 3.5%.


The average price of gasoline per gallon in the United States, according to AAA. When calculated for inflation, however, the record of $4.10 set in July 2008 would be more than $5.30  by 2022. With continued sanctioning of Russia and its oil supply, we could see that figure beaten.
