Roman Abramovich, a Russian billionaire and owner of the English football club Chelsea FC, has been forced to sell the team because of government pressure. A bid of $5.3 billion was made by British industrialist Jim Ratcliffe for the historic soccer team after it was sold to Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich. It would be the most expensive sports franchise purchase in history if successful. However, that is an optimistic "if" - multiple sources reported yesterday that a group led by Todd Boehly, the part-owner of the LA Dodgers, had advanced to confidential talks with Chelsea.
