Customers sent $490 billion through Zelle in 2021, as opposed to $230 billion through its closest competitor, Venmo. It's the sort of number that would rattle you to your core if you live in a Venmo home and serve as a wake-up call that we all live in some manner of bubble.

Fraud is a major concern, no matter what payment app you use. According to industry consultant Javelin Strategy & Research, over 18 million individuals were defrauded via payment apps and digital wallets in 2020.

Bob Chapek, the CEO of Disney, informed employees that the company would not take a formal position on Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill, which prohibits teaching about sexual orientation and gender identity in schools. According to Chapek, while Disney's leadership team unquestionably supports the LGBTQ+ community, there are other ways to effect change.
