When President Biden appointed her to the post, Marilynn Malerba became the first Native American to serve as US Treasurer. The Mohegan Indian Tribe's lifetime leader, Malerba, will be the country's first Native American treasurer in charge of the US Mint and Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

It's also a big issue for Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen since she won't be able to sign the dollar until a treasurer is in place. So both Yellen's and Malerba's names will soon appear on new bills.

DocuSign's CEO, Dan Springer, said on a recent earnings call that he had underestimated just how challenging the decline in demand for the software would be in a post-Covid world. It could have cost him his job: DocuSign revealed yesterday that Springer, with shares down more than 62% this year, is departing from his position as CEO.
