According to a new WSJ analysis of data from 2015 and 2016 college graduates, the pay gap between men and women begins to form quite early in professional careers, just three years after graduation. In nearly 75% of 2,000 institutions, males' median income exceeded females' three years after graduation. Men's median earnings were 10% higher than those of women in almost half of the programs.

The extreme heat has been putting tremendous strain on drivers for delivery company UPS. In Las Vegas, Moe Nouhaili, an UPS driver, discussed the demanding circumstances he and other company drivers are facing due to the intense heat with the Guardian. Last week, a viral Twitter post from the Teamsters union depicted a collage of shockingly high temperatures taken from inside UPS vehicles - one reading of 121.4 degrees Fahrenheit on the thermometer. The Teamsters are asking that UPS explain how it intends to safeguard employees from the heat.
