A few pixels might make a world of difference. In one minute, the Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) QR code Super Bowl ad, which promised $15 in bitcoin to new users, drew more than 20 million hits to its landing page and temporarily crashing the app. The commercial also helped Coinbase rocket from 186th place on Apple's App Store to second place, but it’s unclear if that translated to flood of new customers.
