Howard Schultz took Starbucks from 11 locations and 100 employees to 28,000 outlets in 77 countries during his tenure as CEO. Kevin Johnson is retiring after 13 years as CEO with Starbucks, so he's returning to the post on an interim basis to replace him.


“Rising gun violence is the scourge of our city, state and nation, and I support all actions to reduce it.”

Mayor Darrell Steinberg of Sacramento tweeted following the attack, which left six people dead in the city's downtown early Sunday morning. The AP reports it is the city's second mass shooting in just over a month, coming less than a week after another five people were killed by an gunman at a municipal building.
